Hassim Randeree Chairman

Holds a Management Development Program certificate out of UKZN. Has held significant
executive and board positions within the Clothing sector’s bargaining and consultative forums.
Currently a board member at Orient School and various business entities.

M S Paruk CA(SA)

A qualified Chartered Accountant with significant experience spanning more than 40 years. He currently serves as director on various boards of Companies. The Companies he serves on includes the financial sector including insurance industry as well as a substantial pharmaceutical manufacturing company as chair of the board and member of the sub committees. He also previously served on the board and the sub committees of a bank for many years as a non-executive director. He specializes in consulting and serving on the Boards of large family owned businesses some of which are in the FMCG and Logistics sectors.

Imtiaz Vally CA (SA)

A chartered accountant and has served on a number of boards and chaired various audit committees. Currently on the board of Ahmed Al Kadi Private Hospital Ltd and chairs its audit committee. A lecturing Professor at a leading University.

Mr Allyriza Shaukat Ismail

Mr Ismail is a Quantity Surveyor with a BSc Quantity Surveying from the University of Natal. He has experience in structural steel engineering, construction, and property development. He is the Joint Managing Director of Africa Steel Construction amongst others.

Shabeer Joosub

Businessman with a varied skills set & brings market knowledge to the table on the Board.

Sulayman Abdullah

Currently, serves as the Director of Business Development at Excellerate Property Services and has over 25 years of experience in the property industry in sub-Saharan Africa. Among his key specialties are deal structuring, strategic leasing, tenant mix and design as well as the development of property investments for both investors and property owners. Sulayman holds a BCom Hons and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

Imtiaz Tayob

Practicing registered Quantity Surveyor having graduated in 1982 from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. Extensive experience in the field of Quantity Surveying, Project Management and Development management. Currently manages the KZN region practice of BTKM Quantity Surveyors.

A K Essa (Baboo)

He has a Diploma in Business Management with certificates in both labour law and transport management. He is a Director on the Board of Shelly Beach hospital and advisory board of FNB Islamic Banking. Currently Chief Executive Officer of the Metro Group of companies since 1976.

Mr Ahmed Haffejee CA(SA)

Mr Haffejee is a Chartered Accountant (SA) with a background in leadership and finance. He is the Chief Financial Officer of the South African Bank Note Company (RF) (Pty) Limited, responsible for finance, governance, risk, and compliance. He previously held roles as CEO of Mondi Shanduka Newsprint and CFO of Mondi Packaging South Africa. Mr Haffejee has significant experience serving on various Boards and committees.

Abdullah Sujee, CEO (Not A Board Member)

Abdullah is an experienced Chartered Global Management Accountant and has over 15 years’ experience across multinational corporations, JSE-listed companies, and privately-owned businesses and start-ups. His experience spans local as well as global markets in various industries, including FMCG, Real Estate and Logistics. His strategic vision has enabled him to develop and execute comprehensive plans for businessgrowth, optimising shareholder return and business performance.
